[Solved] Google Drive - Refusal to download files from 'Insufficient Permissions' folders - JDownloader Community (2023)

Note: It looked like the plugin was downloading some of the files mentioned below. I even deleted my comments and wanted to admit that everything was fine. But it was probably a temporary bug that made the JDW try some of them.

For example this folder:

This is so strange I don't even know what to say. Now the bug can even download a bunch of files and ignore the rest.

I used to ignore everything from a folder!

I have so many free google accounts here that you wouldn't believe me if I told you.

And since you don't think this is a plugin bug (or vice versa, Google broke JDW which previously worked 100% fine), I'll give you lots of proof. It's no problem for me to post here.

Because I can't bulk download what I have distributed to my free accounts (which I need right now as I'm backing up elsewhere precisely because I'm tired of trusting google and a 2 year downtime before that is the content is deleted) , then this needs to be fixed ASAP or I won't be able to download as many files manually.

This is much more urgent for me than for everyone else here in the forum.

I can't believe Google intentionally picked some files/folders or accounts to mess with.

Below is my test. Try there and if it says you can download entire folders (not individual files) then the problem is on my side. If you are on my side I will configure everything from scratch.

You must check this if possible.

Try downloading this folder (which isn't new as it's from a 2017 account with 2017 files).

The same error follows: OMITTED - MISSING ACCOUNT. JDW doesn't even select a single file.

Reason? none! This folder is no different from others. It's not private at all.

If more than 6 examples are not enough, please ask me for 12. I have records of all these accounts and ALL (100%) who have saved them.

a) Use resource key and OLDER. It seems Google only added this in 2018 and previous years. I have never seen 2019 and newer content with it.

And JDownloader can only choose b) and always tell me a) = OMITTED = Account is missing.

This is the first time I see a 50% working plugin. The problem is that 50% doesn't work. I have to download it en masse here and if this is not fixed things will be difficult for me.

I can put any google account in the cookies section there and still the examples I gave earlier won't download.

I do not know why. You said yourself that you faced a 403 error.

If this is the case, you know the folders are old and have been randomly selected to add the resource key.

At the moment I have given you 6 new folders from 6 Google accounts.

I have so many accounts here that the number of examples would be huge. Prove my point fully.

I think I've tried all of this and it doesn't matter what GD account is set up. The folders cannot be downloaded yet.

My first guess was:

- The fact that the files are old.

But last week I tried to download this folder just to give you an example:

Did you notice that one of the files is from 2022 (last modified date - this was because I replaced a subtitle track in it) and 7 others are from 2017?

Still, I can download the entire content of it!

Changing the IP does not work. This is not some kind of Google IP restriction, my IP is dynamic and Google allows me to download anything I want. Today I must have downloaded more than 300GB of data.

There is no set quota. The download won't even start if both conditions are met: resource key and 2018 or earlier.

It's a fact. I can't escape this.

ALL FILES CAN BE DOWNLOADED! So I was wrong, right?

No problem. The files are from 2020. And the subfolder contains FILES with a last modified date of 2015 that JDW can still download.

So is this an exception? Probably not.

It may be that JDW is able to download the latter because whatever is there is somehow considered 2020+. That's why JDW downloads everything!

The account for this last link was created in April 2017. I can also tell you the creation date of the account based on my records.

Here's what I'll do (and once I'm done I'll make a new post here):

Uninstall everything and reconfigure JDW from scratch. The best way to get rid of any clutter (if it's there, like a virus, it will be 100% erased if we format the disk).

If the same errors are still there, then you have to admit that the plugin is broken.

This time I will not use JDW save files. Everything is 100% manually reconfigured. Including the added Google Drive account.

I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm arguing or implying that you're not telling the truth. It's just terrible not being able to download a lot of my stuff.
